Exploring and learning the old techniques, developing new ones and creating something that as many as possible can enjoy using and looking at far into the future gives me a pride and happiness that makes my craft as much of a hobby as a job. Wood is one of the oldest building materials and perhaps more than ever before the most important material we have if we are to take care of our little planet. I therefore hope that with my work I can make the construction industry greener.

Working as a carpenter is incredibly exciting. The tasks and challenges are never the same and must be taken differently, which means the work is never boring. It's a great feeling to see a task evolve from the drawing board to a finished project. To be able to go right down to the small details and to see the joy and satisfaction of the customers is so rewarding.

Creating something with one's hands for the joy of oneself and others is extremely rewarding.
