Outside Askeby on Møn, down a long gravel road in the middle of a field was an old four-lane farm that could not be saved. It was therefore demolished and Bjørns Træværk og Restaurering was given the task of building a new one. Architect Uffe Black designed a modern version of a four-lane courtyard based on the original setting, longhouses and entrances to the cozy courtyard environment. The farm received an award in 2020, where it was highlighted that “the four-story wooden building is of high craftsmanship quality. A beautiful reinterpretation of the classic Møn farm ”.
