Brøndhus i Rambow

IMG_1706.JPG

Based on an old picture from a priest in Mecklenburg, we were asked to recreate an octagonal well house with an onion dome roof on a rectory at Rambow Church. The wood used for the project came from the area and was carefully cut by the local master carpenter Henry Diesing, who also spearheaded the restoration of the drawings. We have Henry to thank for much of the knowledge we have gained about traditional carpentry work.
