In the middle of a forest, on top of a hill overlooking Salten Langsø is Højkol Skovgods. The estate was built for Poul Larsen from F. L. Smidth & Co. and drawn by Gotfred Tvede. Bjørns Træværk og Restaurering was hired for the task in two rounds. Initially to restore the half-timbering and the roof of the octagonal tower, which is connected on the north side of the estate. The following year we restored the half-timbering on a gable and a high bay window on the west side.
